Wednesday Club
Draw Our Village
On the 29th Sep.
The children were to draw their own village.
I gave them A3 paper with a drawing of a road so they can start imagining the layout of their village.
Three older boys aged 7 or 8 sat and started drawing some scenes of a war with many airplanes and buildings then others who were drawing parks and ponds, started thinking what they could do to keep their village going.
Sombody said, 'Jail! we need jails!' And the other said, 'A police station and a fire-station! A bank!'Then, everyone got excited. Even the three year old boy was shouting excitedly. Another young boy started to draw a village with full of tanks.
Apparently he was going to fight against the rest of the villages. And he looked happy about it.
We watched Dumbo after that. However, it was not everyone's favorite.
Or maybe everyone was tired.
My next Wednesday Club will be on 1st of December.
